Geostud is supporting a new field practice session for first-year students of the Ecology program within the Faculty of Biology – University of Bucharest (UB). The activity, organized in Sinaia, is designed to apply theoretical knowledge through exercises and observations in a natural environment, under the guidance of specialists from the company’s Environmental Department. Over the course of one week, 24 students take part in activities that provide hands-on insight into current fieldwork methods in ecology.
The program includes: using motion sensor cameras to observe wildlife; nighttime monitoring of invertebrates using non-invasive methods; demonstration flights with drones and spatial data analysis; observations and data interpretation regarding birds, mammals, bats, and reptiles and amphibians.
The activities contribute to the development of practical skills, correlating the theory learned at university with the specific requirements of field work.

The collaboration between Geostud and the Faculty of Biology – UB is ongoing and aims to support education in this field, facilitating the transition from academic to professional training. Supporting these initiatives is in line with Geostud's values: responsibility, excellence, and involvement in training future specialists.
