On April 7, 2025, Geostud took part in the international conference “Rebuilding Ukraine in the New Transatlantic Paradigm: Challenges for the European Business Environment in the Trump 2.0 Era”, held in Bucharest. The event was organized by the Romania–Ukraine Bilateral Chamber of Commerce (CCBRU), in partnership with the “Dialogue for Romania” platform initiated by the Diplomacy360 think tank.
The conference brought together members of the diplomatic corps, political decision-makers, security and infrastructure experts, industry representatives, and civil society in a strategic dialogue on Ukraine’s reconstruction and the geopolitical balance in the current transatlantic context. Key topics included: the EU’s adaptation to emerging geopolitical challenges; investment opportunities in infrastructure, energy, and defense; as well as strategies for energy security and defense cooperation.
Organizers highlighted Romania’s strategic role as a regional hub supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction through modern infrastructure and expanded connectivity. It was also emphasized that more than 200 Romanian companies are already engaged in projects coordinated with European partners within this effort.
As a CCBRU member since 2023, Geostud joined discussions on the involvement of European companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and economy, with a focus on sustainability, resilience, and regional cooperation. The company contributed a practical perspective based on its expertise in:
- assessing land affected by conflict or severe climatic conditions;
- monitoring environmental parameters (soil, water, air) to enable safe economic recovery;
- designing and implementing technical solutions aligned with European standards of sustainability and safety.
Through its expertise in geotechnics, environmental protection, and sustainable infrastructure, Geostud actively contributes to joint efforts for Ukraine’s reconstruction, offering technical solutions tailored to local needs and European standards, aimed at supporting economic recovery and community safety.
