From 9-11 October 2025, Geostud participated in TETRAFEST 2025 - the technology transfer festival organized by the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, dedicated to promoting innovation, academic-industry collaboration and turning research ideas into real applications. The festival included:
- exhibition area where universities, research institutes and companies showcased technologies, projects and potential partnerships;
- conferences, debates, workshops on technology transfer, sustainability and innovation;
- a digital B2B networking platform (b2match) to facilitate meetings between research, industry and entrepreneurs.
The Geostud team was present with an exhibition stand at the event, offering students, visitors and academics the opportunity to discover the practical applicability of the company's work: from geotechnical and environmental testing and analysis to the integration of results into infrastructure projects. We also highlighted the importance of innovation and practical experience in the training of future engineers, as well as the company's commitment to the professional development of young people through internship programs, university collaborations and involvement in real projects.
TETRAFEST 2025 strengthened the link between academia and professional practice, giving students direct access to experts, modern technologies and real challenges in the fields of geotechnics and environmental protection. At the Geostud booth, multiple opportunities were created for students regarding: internships, participation in summer schools, involvement in R&D projects and gradual integration into the professional engineering environment.
By participating in this event, we emphasized how important it is that research results reach industry and that technology is efficiently transferred into solutions with an impact on society. Geostud will continue to be involved in initiatives that support the sustainable development of the engineering field and the training of future specialists.
