Geostud successfully organizes the first hybrid workshop dedicated to the circular economy and business models for reducing carbon footprint

Geostud organizes the first hybrid workshop dedicated to circular economy and business models for reducing carbon footprint. The event, held on June 26, 2024 at MarcomHub Bucharest, was a first in the innovative approach to sustainability and circular economy, bringing together experts and specialists in both physical and online formats.

Geostud's initiative to organize this hybrid workshop demonstrates the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability, bringing together experts from Romania and Egypt in a modern and accessible format. The notable international participation, including representatives from Nile University and Beni Suef University, confirmed the importance and relevance of this innovative collaborative format.

The hybrid format chosen by Geostud facilitated a dynamic and productive dialog on key topics such as the circular economy and decarbonization efforts for the Danube Delta, the Nile Valley and Delta, as well as the development of innovative business models based on circular economy principles. This modern approach allowed the participation of a large number of prestigious institutions, including the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Ministry of Environment - Romania, the National Research and Development Institute "Danube Delta" (INCDDD), the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Center.

The success of this workshop is evidenced by the valuable contributions of the international experts, in particular Prof. Dr. Hamada Mahmoud Hamada Mahmoud and Dr. Irene Samy Fahim. The energetic and engaging atmosphere characterized the whole event, leading to clear priorities for future research in the Danube and Nile Delta areas.

The coincidence with the International Danube Day added a symbolic dimension to the event, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Geostud initiative in the context of cross-border collaborations for environmental protection. Through this workshop, Geostud has laid the foundations for sustainable partnerships between key institutions and organizations, paving the way for future projects in the field of circular economy.

This event is just the beginning of a series of initiatives dedicated to promoting the circular economy and sustainable development. The company's commitment to maximize the potential of the partnerships created and to implement the principles of the circular economy remains firm, with the aim of generating positive change and a sustainable future for all stakeholders.
