Discover Dance - Summer School
Geostud participated in Discover Danser – Summer School, an online event dedicated to bridging academic theory with practical work in biodiversity monitoring, conservation, and environmental assessments. The focus is on field data collection, offering participants the opportunity to understand and apply modern tools for studying ecosystems. The session is part of the EU Missions – Restore Our Ocean & Waters initiative and is funded by the European Union.
ABM 2
Geostud participated in the second General Assembly of the Danser project, organized under the coordination of the National Institute for Research and Development “Danube Delta” – INCDDD. The event brings together international partners from complementary fields such as research, environmental protection, engineering, and public policy. Discussions focus on restoring sediment balance, improving water quality, and addressing the challenges generated by climate change and anthropogenic pressures on aquatic ecosystems.
GAB 1, Bucharest
GAB1 was the opening meeting of this European project, an initiative aimed at restoring the sediment balance of the Danube, improving sediment flow and quality, and analysing pollutant transport mechanisms in the river. Over the three days of meetings, Geostud showcased its expertise in key areas such as biodiversity monitoring and conservation, as well as the integration of innovative solutions to support the project’s objectives.
