Geostud participated in the Mission Ocean & Waters Forum, an event dedicated to the protection and restoration of aquatic ecosystems, organized by the European Commission in Brussels on 3-7 March 2025.
As an officially accredited company for the mission "Restore our Ocean & Waters by 2030", Geostud promoted the Romanian expertise in the field of environmental protection and presented the progress of the achievements of the DAnube Wetlands RESToration project.
The Geostud delegation, represented by Vlad Sandu - Deputy Director General and Dr. Delia Dimitriu - Expert in Climate Change and Circular Economy, participated together with experts from all over Europe in working sessions and debates on identifying solutions for protecting aquatic ecosystems, combating pollution, integrating the circular economy and identifying funding sources for European water protection projects.
Multidisciplinary approach, combining scientific expertise and advanced technologies, adopted by Geostud contributed to the progress of the DaWetRest project. The integrated solutions for wetland restoration and biodiversity protection along the Danube were presented by our team at the event and appreciated by the European Commission representatives and environmental protection specialists.
Through its presence at the event, Geostud contributed to the development of European expertise in the blue economy and strengthened strategic collaborations, opportunities to be capitalized on in future projects dedicated to environmental protection and sustainability.
